About Neurofeedback (NF)

Dr. Joe Kamiya at the University of Chicago and Dr. Barry Sterman at UCLA pioneered early neurofeedback research in the 1950s and 60s.

For decades, neurofeedback was met with skepticism and it wasn't until the 1990s that the ccceptance of neuroplasticity principles in neuroscience supported neurofeedback's potential to improve a variety of neurological conditions.

Continued research has shown neurofeedback's effectiveness for various conditions, including ADHD, epilepsy, and anxiety disorders.

The traditional form of NF requires brain mapping, which takes a picture of the brain at one moment in time. It also requires protocols to be administered to treat specific symptoms, which can be an invasive and ineffective process. Non-linear dynamical NF, a method that allows your brain to train itself, is what we provide at HarmonyNeuro.

Training with NeurOptimal®

NeurOptimal® is an advanced neurofeedback technology designed to optimize brain function through a non-invasive training process. It operates by monitoring the brain's electrical activity and providing real-time feedback via brief interruptions in music or audio, which prompts the brain to self-correct and reorganize itself.

This method aims to enhance cognitive performance, emotional regulation, and overall well-being without the need for diagnosis or external intervention.

The system acts like a mirror, providing real-time feedback that helps your brain recognize and naturally self-correct inefficient patterns.
